Samantha grew up in Republic, Washington and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Western Washington University. She later attended the University of Utah and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. After graduation, Samantha completed an orthopedic residency program through the University of Utah, preparing her for completion of the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification. Samantha enjoys treating all orthopedic-related conditions and has a special interest in ACL injury prevention programming for young female athletes. She is active in community outreach, educating local area high school coaches, athletes and undergraduate athletic training students in the importance of lower extremity injury prevention.
Samantha was a varsity collegiate rower, but now enjoys the intensity and efficiency of interval weight training in combination with the less intense nature of hiking the trails around her home with her husband, son and dog in Riverside State Park. She also enjoys anything relating to interior design/decorating, creating handmade gifts, practicing photography, cooking/baking and traveling to new places with her family.
